Classifica Tour de France 2023: Vingegaard in testa, Pogacar a oltre 7′. Dispersi gli altri, 33° Ciccone

La diciottesima tappa del Tour de France 2023 non ha condizionato la classifica generale nelle posizioni che contano. I 185 km poco impegnativi da Moutiers a Bourg-en-Bresse, lungo un percorso privo di particolari difficoltà altimetriche nella pianura transalpina, sono serviti per tirare un po’ il fiato dopo la cronometro individuale e la frazione alpina di Courchevel. I big in lotta per la graduatoria sono rimasti tranquillamente nella pancia del gruppo, senza incappare in particolari rischi.

Jonas Vingegaard si conferma saldamente in testa. Il danese campeggia in maglia gialla con addirittura 7’35” di vantaggio sullo sloveno Tadej Pogacar, dopo il ko inflitto al suo grande rivale nella prova contro il tempo e dopo la crisi patita dal balcanico in montagna. Il britannico Adam Yates occupa la terza piazza a 10’45”, precedendo lo spagnolo Carlos Rodriguez (quarto a 12’01”) e il gemello Simon Yates (quinto a 12’19”). Appena dietro l’altro spagnolo Pello Bilbao, l’australiano Jai Hindley e l’austriaco Felix Gall.

Di seguito la classifica generale del Tour de France 2023 al termine della diciottesima tappa. Domani (venerdì 21 luglio) è in programma la diciannovesima frazione: 173 km da Moirans-en-Montagne a Poligny, lungo un percorso infarcito di mangia e bevi che stuzzicheranno la fantasia dei fuggitivi da lontano. La graduatoria non dovrebbe subire scossoni prima della tappa di montagna in programma sabato, alla vigilia della passerella conclusiva di Parigi.
