Di seguito riportiamo il medagliere degli atleti vincitori di almeno cinque medaglie d’oro nella storia dei Giochi Olimpici estivi ed invernali. Il record, con diciotto ori, due argenti e due bronzi, appartiene al nuotatore statunitense Michael Phelps, che vanta anche il primato di otto medaglie d’oro vinte in una stessa edizione dei Giochi, a Pechino 2008.
